The location provided easy access to the city center. Breakfast offered a good selection of quality food. I received a nice welcome with 'Pastel de natas'. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room temperature consistent. The room remained clean throughout my stay.

Acceptable Stay with a Couple of Issues
unwashed glasses
I encountered some problems. The housekeeping was substandard. They mainly just made the bed and emptied the bin. The toilet and sink were not cleaned, and glasses were left unwashed. Staff had not reached my room by 4:30pm one day, annoying.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. they spoke fluent english. they arranged a shuttle back to the airport for my return flight. the hotel is well located for exploring.
room housekeeping standards were below par. used glasses were left untouched for the 4 nights i was at the hotel. coffee stain on the table was left unwiped for 2 days. lack of basic conveniences were in the room. there was no waste basket in the bathroom.

the hotel location was great. it's very central. the staff were really helpful with directions. i liked that breakfast had lots of options.
my room was quite small. there wasnt much space for luggage. the bathroom needed some work, and i noticed some mold. the towels felt very old.

i stayed three nights here and found the hotel very modern. the room was spacious and included rituals soaps and shower gels. i appreciated the large hanging space in the room and the proximity to the metro. shops and fast food options were right outside the hotel which i found convenient.
the coffee machine in my room was not working properly. i tried to get coffee from the breakfast area before it opened but a staff member stopped me. the interaction felt a bit rude despite the valid safety reasons.

the hotel features excellent security measures. there is a convenient airport transfer service available for 25 euros. an atm is located in the hotel though i didn't need to use it.

the hotel is a short walk from alfama and the waterfront. it is also close to shopping nightlife and public transport. the rossio station is nearby for train access. the hotel's immediate area is quiet with a small minimarket nearby.

the room was a good size. it was very clean and tidy. fresh towels arrived daily, and the room got cleaned to an excellent standard.
the room i got faced the inner courtyard. therefore, there was basically no daylight. i also had no fresh air because the courtyard was closed off.

The staff arranged a convenient shuttle to the airport for my departure. The hotel is near many attractions, which are within walking distance. The room had a striking view of the castle walls , which looked lovely when illuminated at night.
The breakfast area was a bit crowded , making it hard to find a table immediately.
